Glass Packaging Forum Recently Awarded Grants - Central Otago

The Central Otago District Council was awarded $1,200 to expand the successful extra glass collections in Clyde and include nearby Naseby. The GPF had previously funded wheelie bins to collect glass during the busy summer period in Clyde, keeping 1.4 tons of glass from landfill in 2022. The latest funding will mean an expected doubling of this recovery.
