Glass Packaging Forum Recently Awarded Grants - Christchurch

We awarded Christchurch-based EcoCentral $37,500 to help with a trial to collect colour-sorted glass separately to other recyclables so it’s of high enough quality to be recycled into new containers in Auckland. 

EcoCentral have partnered with fellow glass recyclers 5R Solutions to enable the transport of glass via 5R’s Christchurch hub to Auckland. The initial trial has now expanded to all three transfer stations. Read more
